ANTONIO SANDU – Cadru didactic titular în cadrul Facultății de Drept și Științe Administrative a Universității „Ștefan cel Mare” din Suceava, coordonator de doctorate în cadrul Școlii Doctorale de Sociologie a Universității din Oradea, cercetator coordonator in cadrul Centrului de Cercetări Socio-Umane LUMEN. Principalele sale domenii de interes includ etica, bioetica, asistența socială și filozofia socială. Contribuțiile originale ale activităților științifice ale prof. univ. dr. Antonio Sandu pornesc de la construcția socială a realității și construcționismul social, văzute dintr-o perspectivă semiologică. Autorul analizează construcția socială a realității, dezvoltând propria sa versiune a construcționismului social, care operează la intersecția dintre paradigma construcționistă și teoria acțiunii comunicative. Este autorul cărții: Construcția socială a realității ca acțiune comunicativă, publicată la Cambridge Scholar Publishing (2016), precum și a „Practicii de asistență socială: tehnici de cercetare și modele de intervenție: de la rezolvarea problemelor la anchetă apreciativă”, „Etică apreciativă” : O versiune construcționistă a eticii ”și„ Epistemologia social-construcționistă: o viziune transmodernă ”, toate trei publicate de Lap Lambert între 2012 și 2013. De asemenea, a scris mai mult de 20 de volume în limba română și engleză in domeniile filosofiei, sociologiei, sociologiei juridice, eticii, bioeticii. | PROF. PhD. ANTONIO SANDU – MANAGER OF LUMEN PUBLISHING HOUSE – Full professor at the Faculty of Law and Administrative Sciences of the “Ștefan cel Mare” University of Suceava, doctoral coordinator at the Doctoral School of Sociology of the University of Oradea, coordinating researcher at LUMEN Research Center in Social and Humanistic Sciences. His main areas of interest include ethics, bioethics, social work and social philosophy. The original contributions of the scientific activities of Prof. PhD. Antonio Sandu starts from the social construction of reality and social constructionism, seen from a semiological perspective. The author analyzes the social construction of reality, developing his own version of social constructionism, which operates at the intersection between the constructionist paradigm and the theory of communicative action. He is the author of the book: Social Construction of Reality as Communicative Action, published by Cambridge Scholar Publishing (2016), as well as “Social Welfare Practices: Research Techniques and Intervention Models: From Problem Solving to Appreciative Inquiry”, “Appreciative Ethics: A constructionist version of ethics” and “Social-constructionist epistemology: A transmodern overview”, all three published by Lap Lambert between 2012 and 2013. He also wrote more than 20 volumes in Romanian and English in the fields of philosophy , sociology, legal sociology, ethics, bioethics. |

| EDITOR DOMENIUL FILOSOFIE – LECT. UNIV. ASOC. DR. ANA FRUNZA – Ana Frunză a obţinut titlul de doctor în filosofie în cadrul Universității Al. I. Cuza din Iaşi, România în anul 2014, cu teza “Către o nouă expertiză etică. Deconstruind valorile etice”. Este Cercetător ştiinţific III în cadrul Centrului de Cercetări Socio-Umane LUMEN din Iaşi, România. Principalele ei domenii de interes sunt etica aplicată, filosofia aplicată, asistenţa socială, supervizarea serviciilor sociale, etica cercetării științifice, bioetica şi expertiza etică. În calitate de cercetător bursier în cadrul unui Program avansat certificat în etica cercetării, desfășurat de către Union Graduate College Center for Bioethics și Clinical Leadership (Schenectady, New York) in parteneriat cu Departmentul de Istorie Medicală și Etică a Universității Vilnius (Vilnius, Lithuania) a absolvit cursuri în „International Bioethics”, „International Research Ethics”, „Research Ethics”. (2016). O parte semnificativă a cercetării sale științifice se orientează în jurul construcției unor cadre de dezvoltare a expertizei etice în sfera serviciilor sociale, urmărind printr-o metodologie bazată pe deconstructivism, originat în filosofia derridiană, dezvoltarea unui nou model de expertiză etică – supervizarea de etică. Cercetările întreprinse până în prezent au la bază pe lângă reflecția asupra expertizei etice în domeniul practicii serviciilor sociale, și încercarea de identificare a valorilor etice constitutive ale practicii sociale, în promovarea cărora expertiza etică, prin diferitele modele de aplicare, se antrenează. În sfera eticii cercetării, demersurile sale științifice au coroborat activitățile desfășurate în timpul Programului avansat de Etică a Cercetării, urmat în perioada 2014-2015, sprijinit de Fogarty International Center, National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, National Heart Lung and Blood Institute, National Institute on Drug Abuse, USA. În acest program a desfasurat Proiectul de cercetare „Informed Consent between Theory and Practice in North – Eastern Region of Romania Medical Research Field”, in cadrul si LUMEN Research Center in Social and Humanistic Sciences, Iasi, Romania. Este lector universitar asociat în cadrul Universității “Ştefan cel Mare” din Suceava, Facultatea de Drept şi Ştiinţe Administrative, România. | BOOK SERIES EDITOR IN THE FIELD OF PHILOSOPHY – ASSOC. LECT. PhD. ANA FRUNZA –Ana Frunză obtained the title of Doctor of Philosophy from Al. I. Cuza University from Iaşi, Romania in 2014, with the thesis “Towards a new ethical expertise. Deconstructing ethical values”. She is rank III Scientific Researcher at LUMEN Research Center in Social and Humanistic Sciences from Iaşi, Romania. Her main areas of interest are applied ethics, applied philosophy, social work, supervision of social services, ethics of scientific research, bioethics and ethical expertise. As a Fellowship Researcher in an Advanced Program in Research Ethics, conducted by the Union Graduate College Center for Bioethics and Clinical Leadership (Schenectady, New York) in partnership with the Department of Medical History and Ethics of Vilnius University, she graduated courses of “International Bioethics”, “International Research Ethics”, “Research Ethics” (2016). A significant part of her scientific research revolves around the construction of frameworks for the development of ethical expertise in the field of social services, seeking through a methodology based on deconstructivism, originated in Derridian philosophy, the development of a new model of ethical expertise – ethical supervision. The research undertaken so far is based, in addition to reflection on ethical expertise in the field of social services practice, on the attempt to identify the constitutive ethical values of social practice, and on the promotion of ethical expertise through various application models. In the field of research ethics, her scientific efforts have corroborated the activities carried out during the Advanced Research Ethics Program, followed in 2014-2015, supported by Fogarty International Center, National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, National Heart Lung and Blood Institute, National Institute on Drug Abuse, USA. In this program she carried out the research project “Informed Consent between Theory and Practice in North – Eastern Region of Romania Medical Research Field”, within the LUMEN Research Center in Social and Humanistic Sciences, Iasi, Romania. Cercetare în instituții de protecție a copilului din regiunea de N-E a României”, sub conducerea Prof. Univ. Dr. Antonio SANDU. A obţinut diploma de master în Supervizare și Planificare socială (2010) Universitatea „Al. I. Cuza” Iaşi. Este licenţiată în Drept (2014) Universitatea “Ștefan cel Mare” Suceava. Este licenţiată în Asistenţă Socială (2008) Universitatea „Al. I. Cuza” Iaşi. Are diplome de Formator, Manager Proiect, Asistent în Relații Publice și Comunicare, Evaluator de Furnizori si Programe de Formare și Manager de formare atestate C.N.F.P.A. În prezent activează în calitate de consilier juridic în cadrul Asociaţiei Lumen din Iaşi, coordonator Centrul de Training și Consultanță Lumen, precum și cercetător în cadrul Centrului de Cercetări Socio-Umane Lumen. Research in child protection institutions in the N-E region of Romania ”, under the leadership of Prof. PhD. Antonio Sandu. She obtained a master’s degree in Supervision and Social Planning (2010) within Al. I. Cuza University from Iaşi. She has a degree in Law (2014), awarded by “Ștefan cel Mare” University of Suceava. She has a degree in Social Work (2008), awarded by Al. I. Cuza University from Iaşi. She has several diplomas in the fields of Trainer, Project Manager, Assistant in Public Relations and Communication, Evaluator of Providers and Training Programs and Certified Training Manager C.N.F.P.A. Alexandra Huidu este licenţiată în drept a Universităţii ,,Alexandru Ioan Cuza” din Iaşi, deţine un master în specializarea ,,Ştiinţe Penale”, obţinut la Universitatea ,,Alexandru Ioan Cuza” din Iaşi şi a activat timp de 12 ani ca avocat în cadrul Baroului Iaşi, România. Her main areas of interest are medically assisted human reproduction, the status of the human embryo, stem cell research, genetic engineering, research ethics on human subjects, which she approaches from an interdisciplinary perspective: legal, sociological and bioethical. Alexandra Huidu este licenţiată în drept a Universităţii ,,Alexandru Ioan Cuza” din Iaşi, deţine un master în specializarea ,,Ştiinţe Penale”, obţinut la Universitatea ,,Alexandru Ioan Cuza” din Iaşi şi a activat timp de 12 ani ca avocat în cadrul Baroului Iaşi, România. Este membra a Asociaţiei Române de Bioetică şi International Association of Bioethics – IAB (asociaţia mondială în domeniu). Principalele sale domenii de interes vizează reproducerea umană asistată medical, statutul embrionului uman, cercetarea pe celule stem, ingineria genetică, etica cercetării pe subiecţi umani, pe care le abordează din perspectivă interdisciplinară: juridică, sociologică şi bioetică. Este autoarea cărţii ,,Reproducerea umană medical asistată. Etica incriminării versus etica biologică. She is also a researcher at the LUMEN Research Center in Social and Humanistic Sciences, Iasi, Romania and an associate researcher at the Laboratory of Family and Marital Couple Sociology at the Institute of Sociology of the Romanian Academy, Bucharest, Romania. Alexandra Huidu holds a law degree from the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iaşi, holds a master’s degree in Criminal Sciences, obtained at the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iaşi and worked for 12 years as a lawyer within Iasi Bar, Romania. She is a member of the Romanian Association of Bioethics and the International Association of Bioethics – IAB (the world association in the field). Her main areas of interest are medically assisted human reproduction, the status of the human embryo, stem cell research, genetic engineering, research ethics on human subjects, which she approaches from an interdisciplinary perspective: legal, sociological and bioethical. She is the author of the book “Medically Assisted Human Reproduction. The ethics of incrimination versus biological ethics. Comparative law study ”(Lumen Scientific Publishing House, Iaşi, Romania, 2009, second edition revised and added in 2017) and of several studies and articles in the fields mentioned above. |

Graduate of the master courses in the field of “Social Management and Community Development” of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi, Faculty of Philosophy and Social and Political Sciences. She has a PhD in sociology since 2010 awarded by “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi, Faculty of Philosophy and Social and Political Sciences. Postdoctoral student of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy „Gr. T. Popa ” Iaşi within the POSDRU project “Postdoctoral Studies in the field of Health Policy Ethics ”. She has a professional experience as a social worker for 15 years, in the field of child protection, working in the non-governmental and governmental system. Since 2010 she has been an associate professor at the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi, Faculty of Philosophy and Social and Political Sciences and the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences. Ahe has participated in national and international conferences, publishing articles and co-authoring various collective volumes.
