Interesele sale de cercetare vizeaza domenii precum: logica, teoria argumentarii, empirismul clasic, gnoseologia, retorica, metodologia cercetarii, fiind autor a numeroase volume si articole de specialitate pe aceste teme. A publicat peste 225 de articole si volume stiintifice, in autorat unic, ca si coautor sau in calitate de editor sau coordonator.
