Majid Shirvani has recently completed his M.A. program at the Department of English Language and Literature of Lorestan University, Iran, conducting a dissertation on A Bakhtinian Reading of Philip Roth’s the ‘Plot Against America’: A Polyphonic Metafiction (2016). He received his B.A. in Philology (2014) from Velayat University of Iranshahr. During his undergraduate studies, he was an English instructor in Rastegaran High School in Sistan and Baluchistan Province (2012-2014). His scientific interests include social sciences, comparative and postmodern literature, deconstructive studies, and psychoanalytical criticism. He has also held a lecturer position at the International Interdisciplinary Conference on Current Issues of English Language and Literature, Ahwaz, Iran.
