Liliana-Olivia LUCACIU is a PhD candidate at Bucharest University of Economic Studies. She has extensive experience in EU Cohesion Policy research, studies and evaluations, for Romanian authorities responsible for implementation of EU Structural and Investment Funds and European Commission. Liliana‟s research interest is in performance and impacts measurement of EU funding programmes, with a particular focus on extending the use of quantitative methods. Liliana’s research included the regional policy, the smart growth programmes, the integrated approaches of hard, infrastructure with capacity building, human capital and governance interventions
